Discovery considers drawings or an on-site survey, construction materials, user and device density, application traffic, cabling and power, switch capacity, internet handoff, authentication, guest access, VLANs, coverage targets, interference, and management ownership.
The proposal states the survey method, design assumptions, hardware, licenses, cabling, configuration, testing, documentation, handover, and ongoing monitoring. Building work, electrical changes, internet service, captive-portal content, and device remediation are excluded unless expressly included.
